Molo is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by a charming atmosphere that transported us straight to Italy. The decor was inviting and cozy, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Italian dishes, each crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that tantalized the taste buds. Every bite was a burst of flavor, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. The service was impeccable; our server was attentive and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. And let's not forget about dessert – the tiramisu was absolutely divine! Light, creamy, and utterly satisfying. Molo has quickly become our favorite spot for Italian cuisine, and we can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal!
What a cute place!! We were in Newport Beach and found this place online. Great reviews on Google and Yelp.
This place did not disappoint. The food was fabulous and the service was as well.
We will definitely be back.
Amazing home made pasta amd customer service that makes you feel at home. Ryan Navarro was great and made sure that we were taken care of and provided a great suggestion for dessert.
Great place for a corporate outing or date night and I will definitely be back again.
A delightful treat! Stopped in for dessert but had to try more once I read the menu. The pasta is perfectly cooked and so fresh, the flavors are well paired, and the ambiance is just right for a casual or fancy night out. Will definitely recommend and come back for more!
We just found out that Molo opened last week on Tuesday as we talked to Andy, our server. What a great find of an authentic Italian restaurant in Newport Beach.
Last night’s dinner was sooo wonderful. From the two owners to the wait staff.
Lots of parking and the tables outside had heated lamps everywhere. Never felt cold.
Now the food is beyond good. I was just in Italy last year and it is so authentic and delicious. The food came out hot - not just warm. Such a pleasure when that happens.
The chicken parmigiana was crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. The red sauce is to die for. Delicate and flavorful.
The braided short ribs were sliced thin and did not taste overly rich. They hit the perfect balance of light and rich for the gravy. I never knew you could do that for short ribs which is always too rich.
The tiramisu was also perfect.
I liked the vegan soup very much. Plenty of vegetables. Do ask for some shaved cheese on top because it really elevated the soup.
The flatbread and pizza, we are told, are the same thickness. It’s just the shape of them! Their version of the margarita pizza had shaved cheese that melted in your mouth. Again the perfect balance between creamy and rich.
The meatballs were also perfection. The right texture and so flavorful. And the sauce with some peas were perfect too.
This place is over the top excellent. Highly, highly recommended. We had a blast. Staff were so polite and the two Italian owners and the Italian chef really hit it out of the park.
