The food quality is great and very fresh, but the portions and food presentation are unique.
Reasonable price raw oysters!
A classic California beach restaurant with grilled seafood and a seafood market.
I have been here a few times. The fish is prepared in a simple way but that makes it easy to enjoy good fish rather than a plate of spices. They offer fish grilled or pan fried. Many folks seem to love the bread bowl chowder. The last couple of times I just ordered a big cold hunk of smoked salmon, a loaf of bread and ate it there. Every time, I buy the smoked salmon it was cooked perfectly. The salmon retained the grain of the flesh but it had a smooth simi-spreadable texture, which goes great with fresh bread.
Of course, you can also go to the market area and just buy a fresh fish, shell fish, chowder, sauces or a chunk smoked fish.
The shrimp skewer was the best thing I had eaten all summer. The texture combined with the flavor made the perfectly cooked shrimp melt in my mouth. The clam chowder is a great to take home and eat with family. The Crab cooker is an amazing sea food site. We wouldn’t go a year without traveling to get our fix of crab cooker
