wanting to experience chens for quite some time now finally came. i got their orange glazed chicken. immediately its 3 stars to me for the abundant chicken ratio to rice right off the bat. however the chicken was not fresh. the orange glaze was great although not spicy as i was expecting. i loved that it was speckled with chopped green onions and red peppers but over proved to be a mild overall. the dish did had some body to which i liked. it just the ongoing fact that the chicken was not fresh that was messing my first time experience. also i was not offered chili sauce at all nor was it placed on the table as an option.

i just wished my experience was fresh, spicier, and did not give out free cookies with nitrates or aluminum written in the transparent wrapper a big dealbreaker. i couldnt enjoy the free cookies ????????‍♂️

Wife and I have been going here for 10 years at a rate of about 20 visits a year, so we are giving feedback after 200 or so visits. Overall the service is good, the food is good, and the prices are good for what you get. The atmosphere is simple and decor is plane. It's a whole-in-the-wall, mom and pop kind of place. It's not fancy at all. Sometimes it gets crowded and it's not very big as it's in a strip center. It's also our #1 go to for chinese food. My mom visits a few times a year and always want to eat here. I rarely give out 5 stars but really I'd give it a 4.5 if I could.
