Avila's El Ranchito

Food was good. Soup was excellent. Server was horrible, did not introduce himself or even say hi. Just walked up to the table and asked if We were ready... could care less if we were there... might go back for the soup...

Food tasted very authentic. Great customer service!! Friendly and fast staff. Environment was great for family gatherings. Reasonable pricing. Will come back.

Food was solid, not close to the best Mexican around but what it lacks in taste makes up in the ambiance and service. The service is excellent. Quick and attentive. Its building was an old church and it still has the stained glass windows . great spot to go for happy hour

I like Avilla restaurants in general. However, I love this one!
I believe it used to be a church! It is very nice inside. Also, after eating all that good food, you can walk around in the neighborhood or walk to Orange Circle.

I visit both the Orange and Santa Ana locations. Great food an great service at both. I will continue to recommend the Orange location.

I visit the Santa Ana restaurant more often and the only negative comment I should mention is that service at the booths and tables adjacent to the bar is inconsistent and at times nonexistent. I once waited 1/2 hour after requesting my check after eating dinner.

It's quite possible to leave that area feeling absolutely unappreciated from their "hit & miss" service.
