Ohshima Japanese Cuisine

Best sushi joint in the OC, period. It's definitely costly, but the food is amazing. Given it's popularity, expect a fairly long wait time. I've sat at a table and ordered, but this place really shines when you're at the bar doing Omakase. Again, expensive, but well worth a trip to treat yourself to something amazing.

Great tasting quality fish! As with any sushi place, it depends on the fish. My cousin said it's hit or miss...which was true. I didn't have the tastiest fish I've ever had, but it was good. The sushi chefs there knew what they were doing, and delivered a good tasting meal.

If it was possible I would give them. 6 out of 5 stars. Food is amazing!!! Very authentic Japanese sushi. It took me over 40 mins to sort through all of the fake sushi places. We got there early. When we left there were several parties waiting for a table. I travel all over the uSA. This place is a masterpiece. If you are in the area this is the place to go. Every piece of sushi is a masterpiece.

Showed up 45 minutes early on a Tuesday after I couldn’t get through on the phone. The ambiance and food were excellent. The best sushi I’ve ever had, but I haven’t tried many places at this level of quality. If you’ve got time to spare, give this place a try.

Truly a hidden gem! Located in a strip mall with a plain entrance. However the food is truly amazing. Been there a few times now and the Omakase is exceptional. Highly recommended. Do sit at the chef's table.
