Ruby's Diner

The staff is amazing! They let me use the restroom while I was waiting for the train. I don't think they usually do that but I begged lol

This location is so cute, I love that they turned the old train station into the restaurant. We ordered out and they were quick about getting us our order. I ordered the shrimp tacos they were a good size but they were in sauce so all I could taste was the sauce. My boyfriend really enjoyed his burger and shake.

My burger was great, but the service can be very slow even when the location isn't super busy. But our waiter/bartender did his best. He was making drinks, and had to be the runner for the bar area.

Simple meal, Grilled Cheese and a salad with Honey Mustard dressing. They allow the substitution from french fries. The meal was delicious but our waitress was not as attentive as we would have liked and she was not very busy at that time. Could not get a refill on my salad or my drink. Otherwise, it was a nice visit.

This is the best Ruby's here in OC. Granted it doesn't have the views that the ones at the piers have but the menu is much better since there's a bar area which has a different menu. However, you can order from that menu at the diner side, as well. Plus, the kids love to see the trains go by since it's right there at the station
