My grandson loves trains, Christmas lights and Santa. So... this was the perfect place to go for the holidays. Irvine park has changed since I visited there in the 1960s and 70s. I was happy for my grandson to see how much fun it could be. It must have taken weeks to put all those lights in the trees. It must have been MILLIONS of lights. Great fun but cold. The train is made for kids and does not have enough leg room for adults. Difficult on getting on and off the train

I love this park! It is huge! So make sure you bring your walking shoes, cash for parking and for food and for pony rides and for the train will make the day so much easier. a little mini zoo which is the orange county zoo is located inside. They have a petting farm and a bunch a little small exhibit which is great for if you have little kids and you just want a quick walk-through zoo. You could also ride horses, and rent boats on the little lake. It’s always provides a great amount of fun and takes up a few hours if there’s a nice day!

Great place on the weekends for a family day. Pony rides for $5. You can rent horses for $55 per hour, there's a lake where you can rent a bicycle boat and start pedaling a Orange County Zoo for the kids and a safe place to walk.
Is it someone's birthday? there are barbecue grills, parking is $5 per car but in general this place is just the safe that is a key thing
