Vibes: Heactors is located in the Old Watson Pharmacy that opened back in 1899. Old-time feel, Astro lighting with a splash of modern Instagram-friendly backgrounds.

Freebies: Warm chips with a choice of spicy or mild sauce

Ordered: Fish Fillet was okay but not OMG. Rice beans were good

Service: Carlos did a great and was attentive to everyone's needs. Party of 8

Restroom: Under lock and Keypad. Clean restrooms however need to ask for a code to get in.

Pros: Instagram Friendly and Large Bar plus the sidebar.

Cons: Big Plates make the presentation look off as if something was missing from the plate.

Recommendation: I feel Hectors is going for a different customer base and trying to go for a more upscale restaurant experience like Javiers. I can read from the comments that the community was not happy that Watson is gone. But I can appreciate that the owners keep the old-time look and built around it. This is a new concept for Hector's and I wish them the best with this venture. Overall, I will be back.

Great atmosphere. Very empty for a Saturday afternoon. I think they are still renovating as they took over this spot recently. Love the look, very sleek and professional. The food was good, but not great. If I had to describe it I would say it was normal Mexican food you find anywhere, but served in a nice setting. They have several TVs, two bars and plenty of space to entertain. There's also an Instagram worthy sign for those seeking to post their experience here. I would recommend.

It was just ok. Small portions. My salmon was about 3 oz and 1/2 cup of overcooked rice. I got a good portion of asparagus although quite a bit was "woody" and unedible. The menu said my salmon came with beans and rice but it was served with rice and asparagus. The plate was $25, which seemed expensive for what I got.

This was a hard one for me. First off, the service was fantastic with their interactions with us. However we were placed at a table that should be moved because every time a server went behind me, I was bumped or gently kicked.

The FOOD was great, I loved the salsas, the green sauce was creamy with the tiniest bite. The red sauce was very smooth and not chunky. We got the carnitas plate but my gosh they took a long time to get the food to us. The rice’s flavor was awesome and the texture was perfect. Honestly it was the best part. The beans have a good flavor but I don’t care for the texture, it was more like soup then refried beans. The carnitas themselves were well cooked but the flavor was just a bit bland. I would give this place another chance before I take it off my list.

Came here on Labor Day. Not crowded at all. Still looks like they are not completely finished with the inside. AC seemed to not be working as they had fans around the restaurant. The food was very good. The service was also very good.
