Pad thai with homemade special iced milk tea, cajun fries & strawberry boba smoothie!
Love it, its the best place to eat i go there almost all the time. Best drinks and food i recommend coming here ❤
I am loving that more new restaurants are opening in this area. I was very happy to see that Hiccups opened across the street from the Mall of Orange. It's next to Taco Bell, Raising Cane's and Target.
We decided to give this place a try during my lunch break since we needed to run a few errands at Target.
Once we came in, we were greeted by the nice lady at the register. They have a wide selection of noodles, appetizers, drinks and pho. It's a fusion of Asian Cuisine and American Cuisine (Vietnamese, Thai and American).
I tried the thai fried rice with tofu (you can choose any protein you like) and my husband had the Beef Bone Pho (which was on special) and for drinks we got the matcha milk tea and thai tea.
Once you order, you grab a table and wait for the food to be brought to your table. Our drinks arrived a few minutes after we sat down (THEY ARE VERY QUICK, WHICH IS A PLUS when you only have 1 hour lunch break). The pho and the fried rice came a few minutes after. We love the presentation that of both dishes.
The thai fried rice was very flavorful (with a slight kick) and we appreciated the fact the tofu was perfectly fried. The portion of thai fried rice is generous, for two people I would recommend the thai fried rice and an appetizer.
The pho came in a very clean broth with the usual bean sprouts, basil and jalapeno on the side (please note that pho usually comes with cilantro and onion, but my husband asked them to not put any in the broth). I tasted the broth and the taste is very light, it tastes as if they don't stew the bones and meat for a long time. But they do get props for having such a clear and clean broth.
Overall my experience at Hiccups was a good one. I can't wait to come back and try their other dishes.
Love hiccups! Serving sizes are large, 2 people can easily share 1 plate. The food is great and the service is on point. If u haven't had it.... Do a coffee float it's creamy deliciousness! This location is smaller, there is seating outside as well.
