Gus' Fresh Jerky

This shop was one of the highlights of our trip! The shop owner was so kind and introduced us to a huge variety of jerky, some of which was new to us and just incredible. She also was happy to answer all of our honey related questions and we learned so much. The shop itself is charming and has an abundance of things including pickled garlic, edible dried flowers and snacks, shark jerky, and bee pollen! We ended up buying the sage honey and just love it. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

My husband and I stopped by Gus’ while we were out shopping in San Clemente and we are so happy we did! The jerky was absolutely delicious and the owner Nancy was so sweet/helpful! We will definitely be coming back for some more!

Gus' fresh jerky is the best jerky by far!! I'm so happy they added a new location in San clemente , they have great honey, dried fruit, flavored nuts, stuffed olives, and even vegan jerky options. They provide the best snacks for hiking or a beach day. They're even a perfect snack for a busy day at work , something to keep you going throughout the day. The customer service is great with lots of samples to try and Nancy is so sweet! 100% recommend

Gus’ Fresh Jerky is not your ordinary jerky you’d find a your local grocery store. It is very delicious!! I’m super excited that a new location has opened, convenient to my area. If you’ve ever been to their other locations like the one in Olancha, California by 395 hwy. My favorite jerky is the teriyaki and sweet & spicy! The owner is super friendly and the sweetest. You are able to taste samples of their jerky, 100% pure honey (avocado one is a must!), and their snacks to include stuffed olives. The store is located in the corner of a pathway on Avenida Del Mar. I highly recommend to everyone! One of a kind jerky & honey!!

I highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys fresh, quality snacks! During the grand opening, Nancy exceeded all customer service expectations. The jerky has the perfect chewy texture and is not too tough. Our favorite was the teriyaki, it’s phenomenal. And the dried mango is amazing! My family and I will definitely be back!
