The Lobster Shack

I'm originally from the east coast, and particular about my lobster rolls. The Lobster Shack & chef Dan delivered in every way. This is for sure my new go-to spot for lobster and chowder in the San Clemente area!

New-ish place in Old City Plaza, serving up some deliciousness. Had three crab cakes and a grilled cheese lobster sandwich. The crab cakes are small, but they're an appetizer and priced perfectly for the size. Also, they're very good. Perfectly seasoned and tasted very fresh. The sandwich was exactly what I was hoping for when I think of "lobster grilled cheese"... It was lobstery, cheesy, buttery, AND crabby. Absolutely perfect, and again, tasted fresh. What's more, there was somehow the perfect amount of butter on the toasted bread... Not too little like is usually the case, but somehow just enough without being too much. Highly recommended if you're looking for a shack-style seafood fix and some local vibes. Keep it up!

If you are looking for a lobster roll that isn’t too heavy, you’ve found the right place. It tastes more fresh than buttery, but still delicious. The lobster bisque soup is also amazing! And wonderful service as well. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She even split the lobster roll in half for us since we were sharing the meal. We enjoyed our meal to go and ate at the pier.

LOBSTERMANIA - Most amazing Lobster, Crab, and Shrimp Rolls Ever! If you are a seafoodie this is the lobster, crab and shrimp place. They also have Fantastic Lobster Bisque and Award Winning Clam Chower. Did not know what was this was until I tried one. A good East Coast Treat in Sunny California. Dipping the Lobster Roll into the Lobster Bisque is even more awesome... DON'T MISS OUT ON THE LOBSTER SHACK!
