“Stayed at Nomads Hotel with my family. Rooms are really nice and we’re decorated wonderfully. The hotel is right in the downtown area so we were able to walk everywhere. The staff was great. They texted every night to see if we needed anything. The restaurant upstairs had a great vibe and great food at a great price. We would recommend this hotel and we will be back the next time we are in San Clemente.”

“This is such a great aspirin to the San Clemente food landscape! The restaurant is lovely inside. It's open and spacious with a great bar. The staff all around are wonderful and attentive, fast and personable. And then the food... the ribs looked amazing (a friend at our table had them and was impressed), the bowls are great and the appetizers are delish. Drinks too. A well rounded selection, a few of their own and a few solid standards. Highly recommend trying this place!”

“This shop was one of the highlights of our trip! The shop owner was so kind and introduced us to a huge variety of jerky, some of which was new to us and just incredible. She also was happy to answer all of our honey related questions and we learned so much. The shop itself is charming and has an abundance of things including pickled garlic, edible dried flowers and snacks, shark jerky, and bee pollen! We ended up buying the sage honey and just love it. It won’t matter what how early you come , their attitudes and personalities really make your day and wake you up more than the coffee, which is always fresh I might add which is also, amazing. I love my mozzarella flat bread in the morning which they always have , also really good if you want something tasty that won’t upset your stomach. 10 outa 10 would always come back again . By the way, love the kids temp option so I can drink any latte I get as soon as I get it because come on, those things are like heaven.”

We had such great food, wine and service the first time we went with friends that we took our twenty something son and daughter-in-Law there before Thanksgiving. The Five 2ounce wine tasting for $15 was really fun. You pick the five you want to try from their menu. Love Allie, their restaurant manager. She makes the experience fun!”

“New-ish place in Old City Plaza, serving up some deliciousness. Had three crab cakes and a grilled cheese lobster sandwich. The crab cakes are small, but they're an appetizer and priced perfectly for the size. Also, they're very good. Perfectly seasoned and tasted very fresh. The sandwich was exactly what I was hoping for when I think of "lobster grilled cheese"... It was lobstery, cheesy, buttery, AND crabby. Absolutely perfect, and again, tasted fresh. What's more, there was somehow the perfect amount of butter on the toasted bread... Not too little like is usually the case, but somehow just enough without being too much. Highly recommended if you're looking for a shack-style seafood fix and some local vibes. Keep it up!”
