California Pizza Kitchen at Santa Ana

Excellent service and food. Store manager was so attentive to our family. Erika our server was amazing/excellent server and we love that she speaks Spanish!!!

This time service was slow. Waitress wasn't very concentrated on her guests: not coming by the table to see if we needed anything. Asked for larger salad plates or bowls n all we got was one shallow bowl from the "young host", n told that was all they had at the time. You know tips are earned: not automatic. Her tip from me was to smile more n to check in on her guests more than twice. A $20. Bar be que chicken salad reserves a hearty sized plate, not a bread plate!

Great location! I think they had just remodeled. The wait staff was very nice and and did a great job!

This is the first time in years since I've been back to this location. The place has been renovated and opened up (got rid of booths and placed tables with chairs), which allows for flexibility in seating and free flow of foot traffic. That's a good thing for a busy restaurant like this one, which translated to a 2 minute wait on a busy Saturday night.
The menu continues to change, but maintains some of the well-known staples (e.g.: BBQ pizza, Chicken Tequila Fettuccine). They have gluten-free and vegetarian options available.
We had a BBQ salad and a chicken BLT pizza, both of which were tasty as they have been in the past. However, the salad came AFTER the pizza, like 5 minutes after. Maybe they had to grow the greens? Who knows....
Our server was not the most attentive we've had, which had us wait for a to-go order for quite a long time after we ordered it (it was a salad to go, which took over 15 minutes). All in all, I'm glad the food is still good and the place looks better. Hopefully next time our server will take better care of us. We'll see.
