Ritter's Steam Kettle Cooking

Food was okay. I got the fried okra because I am from the south and we love our fried okra. Some pieces were not cooked all the way through and some were. It was hit and miss. The pieces that were good tasted like traditional fried okra and I liked the sauce that came with it. I got the shrimp Po Boy as well. The shrimp tasted fishy, the bread didn't have a good fresh taste to it, the fries tasted like they were made hours ago and it was overall disappointing. I have been wanting to try this place for a long time so I am kinda bummed.

Amazing flavor, and just enough spice. The food was so good here, glad we happened to find ya since we are from out of town. Good vibe, packed when we arrived which is always a good sign. Definitely will be back next year when we come to town.

Absolutely good if you're not in the south! I'm Creole and I must say it was pretty okay. My God family is from New Orleans and I know a lot of southern down south cooking is it an excellent job.

Unique cooking method! The new England clam chowder and red beans and rice were great, with generous portions. Looking forward to exploring the menu further!

I hate to give a negative review when it was a near perfect experience.

The place is great, very nice atmosphere, fantastic food, 3rd best chowder I have had in my life on the west coast. Servers were great and friendly. Did I say the food was fantastic yet? Well it was......

And the 2 thorns in my side. Left and right.... the chairs. OMG that sucked. Nearly everybody has to sit half forward on the chair because the chairs are so small. I felt like I was sitting in Vietnam again. I am not fat either. 36 in waist and it was uncomfortable the whole time.

Their rolls are very excellent and their food is fantastic!
