Oh wow! I went here with my girlfriend for brunch last weekend. It was a total splurge, but so worth it. The omelettes were the best I ever had, there was some Mexican dish that I kept on going back for more, lockes and capers, a country fried steak to die for and the view! Look at that view! That atmosphere was laid back, but sophisticated, Orange County at it's very best.
I don't know if it was the food, or the view, or my girlfriend looking particularly beautiful, but while I was there I decided that the next time I go there, I'm proposing.
Wish me luck!
Our server Shay (I think that's her name, sorry I'm horrible at remembering names!) did a great job. She was very attentive and courteous. I had a 10 oz steak that was perfectly cooked, as well as, garlic mashed potatoes that had the right amount of garlic. The view was amazing and well worth it. Oh and the cheesey bread was really good. Overall a great experience with my husband and family. No complaints from any of us.
This is a fantastic steakhouse. The food is very good, the drinks are awesome, and the service is top notch. It's a pretty casual place, and the decor is very kitschy but it fits the restaurant's theme. The restaurant is situated at the top of a hill so the views are beautiful, but the drive up and down can feel a little harrowing. Overall this is a fantastic place to stuff yourself with your friends or family.
The wife and I went here for a date night. We went straight to the bar area and decided since it was so empty, that we should just stay and order appetizers with booze. We ended up ordering almost all of them. I'd say about 5/8 we're pretty good. The rest were kind of bland. The old fashion was delicious, but expect to pay a high price for everything. Unless you can stick to happy hour. Not a bad night overall.
The food was great. The drinks were great. Our waitress was very attentive, friendly and very concerned for our needs. Which is very rare in some restaurants. We received refills every time we hit a half way mark. Whether it was water, fountain drinks, or cocktails. And yes you have your own small "pitcher " of water but she would always fill up our cups talk about service lol. The food was great. The bar of soups and salads was great. Very diverse. A little something for everyone. And the mood they set was so relaxing
