Pei Wei

The lettuce wraps were as good as I have had at upscale restaurants. Very crisp, cold lettuce. Steaming hot savory filling with crisp bits of water chestnut. Fast and fresh.

Food was made to order, nice and hot. Spicy chicken was very good. Staff was better than the average, but could be improved on. Worth a try as it is above the ordinary airport food.

I ordered the Fried Rice Steak and it was great! I'm a fan of Pei Wei's and so is my mom. After a week of Disneyland food, it was great to having something light and delicious. We even met a group of women from the Bay area who had no idea what Pei Wei's was but got it because we told them how good it is. They very much enjoyed it!

Two reason I didn't give it 5 stars:

1) Overpriced! For two of us to eat it was $35. That's just ridiculous.
2) It closed at 7. There was no sign stating that they were closed or posted hours of operation. As I ate, I told 5 different people that they closed at 7 because instead of the employees doing that, they just ignored the people standing there waiting to order. I couldn't believe they were so rude. I would strong encourage management to get a simple sign for them to put on the counter saying "sorry, we're closed". Not that hard.
