Pricey but pretty good and all you can serve boba.
This is a place around the corner and I would kill for the spicy pork bone noodle soup. The broth is deep and delicious. I order it to go because I find you get more noodles this way. However, you must not let it sit because the fresh noodles will stick together. They serve the to-go very well with broth separate from the noodles and veggies. If you put a little of the broth into the noodle bowl, you can separate them easily. The soup comes with a side and I always get the spicy popcorn chicken. Dump this into the noodle bowl then put all the broth in. Amazing stuff! I would eat it every day if it didn't have any calories. They offer all kinds of delicious boba too (my daughter gets this and popcorn fish with fried rice). Try it on a cold and rainy day. You won't regret it.
I like the concept of making my own boba concoction and deciding the different ratios. The food items on the menu, however, were just OKAY. It lacked flavor. The popcorn chicken was bland and needed seasoning but it was cooked nicely and very crispy. The spicy miso soup I got wasn't spicy at all. Noodles were nice and chewy but the rest of the dish wasn't very memorable.
Limited selection is food choice. I went for the snow ice which is absolutely delicious. This location gets 4 stars because there is too much topping and not enough snow ice. There seems to be a lack in consistency between locations. I also tried the Downey branch and the snow ice has too much snow and not enough topping.
I had the spicy wonton noodle soup and a Thai tea snow drink with jellies. Soup was good. The drink was great. The service was ok. Suggestion for the employees to be more social. It was my 1st time there I didn't know how to select my drink it's like a do it your self buffet style. It was different I liked it but the guy who took my order gave a vague explanation on how to do it. His words "just get what every you want and come back and I seal it for you" ???? which I did but not very sociable as I said earlier. So if some one at your location reads this please ask of your staff to be more friendly and willing to help not so withdrawn. Beside that I would go back. Hope this helped.
