Incredible experience. If you like fresh variations of fish and the way it is prepared is outstanding.

OMFG. This experience will ruin every sushi place you have ever been to. Reservations are now done through Yelp only. Easily $300 for two people if it’s a special menu or if you’re adding to the regular omakase serving. 16+ courses. 10 seatings per day but the chef will sometimes expand that to two seatings at 5:30 and 8:00 pm. Bring as many friends as you can so you don’t end up with randoms who could be cool or absolutely annoying.

I’ve been following Gino since his restaurant in Kaori and his omakase has always been a treat! His dishes are full of creativity and flavor and he has never once failed in surprising my palate. For his prices and his quality, you won’t find better in the OC, and his personality and hospitality make him a one-of-a-kind chef even with his amazing dishes. I’ve been here during its soft opening and it is on another level from his old restaurant. Anyone who loves sushi and sashimi must try Omakase by Gino, you won’t be able to stop coming here once you get a taste of his food!
