Food was very delicious, I’m definitely going to recommend my friends and family to try. I ordered Okra soup and Egusi soup, we enjoyed trying Fufu for the first time!
Worth the price, etc Worth it! Kennedy is always so personable and professional! Oh and the food, “chef’s kiss”! It’s authentic, flavorful, made with quality ingredients. I don’t even live nearby but every time I’m in town, it’s my new habit to order something from this restaurant. A really good representation of Nigerian cuisine and Nigerian kind-heartedness.
10/10 wow! After looking for a place close to home we came across this treasure. I’ve tried other locations but nothing came close to the taste. Can’t get better than authentic homemade from gifted hands. Large portions, and enough to share. I will definitely come back for more. Support small businesses! Follow them on IG.
***egusi soup with beef, yam fufu, jellof rice with chicken, puff puff***
This was our first time having Nigerian food.
We ordered egusi soup with fufu, ofada soup, moimoi and jollof rice.
Service- they are terrific. We ordered the food before going to pick up and they were very helpful in helping us decide what to try.
Food- this type of food was outside my regular palate. From what I can tell, very high quality and very flavorful. I shared pictures with my Nigerian friend and she instantly pointed out how authentic it looked. Compliments to the chef. The jollof rice was my favorite. Super flavorful and the lamb was absolutely amazing. I typically don’t like lamb much but it was spiced wonderfully. I tried beef with the egusi soup. Overall the dish was wonderful but the beef was quite hard and dry. I’m unsure if that was the intended texture but in my opinion it was a little tough.
Price- ranged from $15-$25 per item. The amount of food and quality was well worth the money.
I am highly likely to order from them again. I am excited to try more next time.
I have been looking for a place in Orange County that is open every day for authentic Nigerian food. When I heard about this place recently, I was delighted not to have to drive almost 2 hrs to LA for delicious food. I immediately submitted my order for egusi soup, puff puff, and moi moi. I really wanted to order the whole menu! The food is delicious and brings an authentic taste of Nigerian food to your taste buds. This is the greatest secret for delicious west African food right in the heart of Orange County. Everything is made to order from scratch and I love that this is done. The food is made with love and care and as with all African cuisine, it is not rushed so that it has the wonderful flavors cooked to perfection. I am so glad I discovered this place. You will enjoy the food.
