Delicious food and friendly service. Our favorite restaurant.
First time dining at Benchmark and it was a great experience. They had sufficient Covid guidelines to make my family and me feel safe. The food was excellent, we had their burger and the gochujang fried chicken. Finally, the service was excellent as well, Joseph was very funny which made the experience all the better. It felt good to support a small business during these tough times, I highly recommend it.
Almost forgot, we had the artichoke fondue with pretzel appetizer... it was amazing. I could have had a whole dish of it.
This place is amazing. Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. The atmosphere is very comfortable, relaxed and friendly. The chef Definitely knows his stuff. Everything was exceedingly fresh, beautifully presented, seasoned to perfection. From the fried brussel sprouts and pork belly, to the delightfully seasoned hanger steak and (yes, seasoned) scrambled eggs, to the exquisitely crisped skin on the perfectly cooked salmon, to the most delicious brown butter cake we'd ever tasted. This place is truly a 5 star dining experience.. Can't wait to go back.
I agree with everybody that the outdoor seating space is great. Super chill, great vibe, very comfortable... it would definitely be your neighborhood hangout spot if you lived within walking distance.
It's good for everybody because the menu is very varied with lots of classic stuff paired with lots of innovative preparations and styles. The space is great, but the food is the the star here. I had a piece of salmon that was expertly prepared. Looking back, it was probably the best piece of fish I had all year.
The service is great, water as we sat down, plates removed quickly and offered a very friendly explanation of the menu when we had a few questions.
So what's not to like? Well I'll tell you that I came in on an off-day, lunchtime and pulled right into their lot to an empty awaiting space. I recommended having a neighborhood hookup or a rideshare service for dinnertime. I could see parking being a real issue after 8pm.
