This place is small with a LOT of seating. It's a place you would pass very easily if you aren't looking for it.
Ordered two birria tacos, the tortillas are handmade in front of you, with onions and cilantro. No additional concome poured over it, which I think would've help, but they were good, and the portion of meat was plenty.
It was empty when I went in, but that's not a bad sign. I would go back if I was in the area but not go out of my way.
I've been going to this place for over 15 years and I never get disappointment
My family and I have been customers of this place for over 20 years. There is no better place in Santa Ana (or Orange County for that matter) for a good old-fashioned birria. It is cooked to perfection. I came today after a couple of years, and they have simply not lost their magic touch. The same staff from years ago making the same delicious recipe. Trust me, this is the spot!

Growing up in Southern Mexico, this place brought my memories back to my childhood.
I already tried their main dishes, all of them are a win win, the Burria though, is my favorite.
At least 1# of mutton ( goat) slowly cooked with a luscious an unique flavor, served with broth or dry, on this particular case I ordered with the caldo on the side, hand made tortillas, diced onions, cilantro, limes, and a fiery Japanese chili salsa.
Chef Gloria Rodriguez makes sure you will come back even more often.
