Prego Mediterranean

I loved the old Prego in Irvine. Since they changed to Mediterranean, I believe it is different and the food isn't as good. I would give it 3.5 stars.

What a great experience! The restaurant itself is gorgeous and well planned. Menu was really great and service was EXCELLENT! Nice wine list. Great for a special night out!

Prego is not only a great spot to dine at but also to celebrate such occasions. I've came here to celebrate birthdays, New Years, & I recently even had my baby shower here. The ambience is great, very relaxing, making it pleasant experience when dining. The staff is very attentive & helpful in getting one to decide what to eat. The food is always delicious, I personally love their filet mignon. The salmon is also quite delicious.

I was there for Happy hour. Their HH hours are 2 - 7 PM weekdays and 3 PM to closing on weekends. Since I was there early on a Wednesday, it was very quiet. Service was great, Shaun was the bartender and was very nice. I had the cheese pizza for $6. You can add toppings for $1 each. It is a thin crust and quite large so even with added toppings it is a great buy. It is large enough to share. Sorry, I didn't check the other options. Draft beer is $5 and so is the House wine (4 varieties).

Both Dennis and Shawn were fantastic! I will definitely be back.
Oh... and by the way... the meatballs in a vodka sauce are out of this world!
