Love Lucille's! The Tustin Lucille's IS the Best of them all! Love the wedge salad, baked beans, okra, banana pudding- OH and All of the brisket, ribs, chicken, etc! Best smelling place in the World! Yummy! Disappointed that the 1/2 appetizer platter is discontinued. :( Please bring that back!
Great food and excellent service. Alison and Kayle were responsible for making our delicious meal an absolute pleasure. The ribs were perfect and even if I received poor service at this restaurant, I would come back just for the ribs. How cool is it to find that diamond in a pile of glass. Lucille’s is fortunate to have Kayle and Alison in their employ as these two help greatly to make this particular restaurant a Go To Restaurant.
I was taken there to have lunch by my Spiritual Mentor. The Waitress was kind and considerate to our needs. The food was good, I had beef brisket which came with a side ( I choose greens) & I was told "they're served with lemon vinagrette". Well, they also had seeds of hot peppers in the greens which is spicy & I don't like spicy. ???? However, the biscuits with Apple Butter & they Strawberry Lemonade were delectable!
Always deliciously brewed peach tea. This go around had the shrimp and avocado salad with a cup of corn chowder. The salad is huge and took half home. The soup was tasty with a little extra spice but could have been a tad hotter temperature. Otherwise service was good, food was good, no complaints
If you're in the area of Lucille's Smokehouse you have to try it at least once.
The staff here are extremely friendly. They make sure to explain everything when they know it's your first time at the establishment.
The prices are relatively good. But you have to keep in mind that you are paying for the atmosphere as well. They have live jazz being played in one of the seating areas and it can be heard throughout the restaurant.
The portions are pretty good as well. We ordered the artichoke and cheese appetizer and it seemed a little bit pricey until it arrived and noticed how big the portion was.
We had ordered the steak and the brisket both items were pretty good. They have three different types of homemade sauces. I tried all three but wasn't too thrilled with any of them. But to each their own when it comes to that.
If my review was helpful, please give it a thumbs up. ????
