Yogis Teriyaki

Legit traditional teriyaki! Great chicken, beef & rice.

There was a time when I loved eating here. However, after today’s meal I am reminded of how quality has faded over the past few years. Today’s meal of extra meat chicken plate made me wondering if salmonella was going to be the second course as much if the strip chicken texture was that similar to under cooked. I also found the usual double portion to be smaller. Oh well. There are other places which cook thoroughly.

Wow! I'm so glad I discovered this gem because of how lovely it is.

The food itself is very cheap and there's quite a variety of entrees to choose from. I decided to go for their chicken teriyaki bowl because I wanted to try out their teriyaki food. I mean, teriyaki is in the name of their shop so it could be good, right??

To be fair, you do get what you pay for. I don’t think that this is the most spectacular place for teriyaki bowls but it was worth the $5.49 that I paid for a small bowl and I was certainly full after that. You do get to add vegetables for $1 if you’re interested.

On my next visit, I’d love to try their udon noodles since they do offer that here. I think that there is definitely value in what you’re paying for and can tell that it is quite a popular option for many employees as it was busy during my visit. I think that it is a family owned restaurant because there was an older Asian woman working as the cashier and an older gentleman bussing and waiting on tables. Definitely will return to support them!

Awesome food, have been going there for years. Chicken and beef bowls, plates, salads and sushi. It's all really good and made to order.
