Pizza slice heaven👌🏽. The Garlic knots are soft and tasty 🤤

My daughter I went to Sal's pizzeria after shopping and we really liked this place. My pepperoni pizza I really like, and my daughter ordered a veggie pizza with egg plant, and she said it was really good. It is very small in the inside, just a few tables, we ate outside the weather was good at that time, not too cold to sit outside. Yes I would recommend this place for nice chit chat, and a lunch meal. Also we ordered a garden salad enough for us to share, very fresh enjoyable salad.

Is it authentic NY pizza? No idea. I haven't been to NY so I can't judge.

What I can judge is the pizza is fantastic tasting. We ordered the Brooklyn NY style and when they brought it to our table, the smell made me start to drool. Pizza was melty and saucy. My husband never eats his crusts. He ate these.

The garlic knots are huge and came with a container of a thin sauce. Tasty with just enough garlic. Bonus points for not burning them because scorched garlic tastes foul.

Only a few tables inside, but ample outdoor seating. You can order takeout or eat it there at a table.

Shout out to the staff member who was fast with a comprehensive answer about Grandma sauce vs regular sauce.

Friendly service. Good pizza. Must try the meatballs.

There's not much seating indoor, but the district has plenty of outdoor seats.

We were so excited to see that this
pizzeria had opened! It’s nice to have a food option in The District that’s fast, friendly, and reasonably-priced.
The BBQ Chicken pizza was good; but, a little too heavy on the red onions for my taste. The Spicy Sicilian was amazing! If we weren’t going to the movies after, we would have purchased a whole pie right there. The crust had the perfect amount of crunch, the sauce provided a nice depth, the cheese melted nicely with the toppings, and the hot honey was a welcome addition. We will be definitely coming back!
