The seafood soup! Bomb!

They brought my drink, including my requested ice water, at the same time, but after I was already halfway thru my meal. Not very service oriented or professional. Other than that, the food and ice coffee is excellent. The only reason I keep coming back. People are nice but some of the waitresses just seem spacey or just don't care enough. They could implement better protocols for bringing the drinks before your meal. The only time they've ever brought my drinks first, was when I specifically requested it. No customer, should ever have to do that.

Amendment to my original review. The service has gotten alot better as they have hired, as it looks like, a new set of waitresses. Younger, more energetic and not as apathetic as the ones that I remember from my earlier review. It also tends to vary on the time in which you go. If they are super busy then you definitely need to flag them down with more difficulty but when slow to moderate, you still have to get their attention as they will never stop to ask how everything is going..so don't go in with super high expectations as far as the customer service goes, only on how delicious the food is, and and be prepared to get their attention which they are always polite and very nice about. Other than that try the Bo Luc Lac, with the white or fried rice option. Their milk, and iced teas are delicious as well as their bobas, and their Pho Soups and hot pots as well as their pork chop and rice and whole fish dinner or lunch is excellent. The owner and Manager is very nice as well as the waitresses that is in her 30's with the very pretty smile is always nice to me. Some of the other hostess/waitresses are friendly and nice as well as.

Great place for a quick bite to eat or for a family dinner. They offer fish dishes served in whole, with head, tail and bone in. So if you are not used to seeing this, this might not be place for you. They offer combination dinner for 4 with rice, soups and choices of dishes. Not the best Vietnamese food in the area but always good, consistent quality of at a very reasonable prices. They also own three other restaurants off Broookhurst, each with its uniqueness and target clientle. This one has more traditional food targeting the locals Vietnamese community. BTW my wife is a vegetarian, they to also offer a good selection of vegetation food to choose. I don't believe they have pots and pans just for vegetarian cooking and they used green onion, onion and garlic in their cooking. Most of their vegetarian dishes are vegan. Happy eating !!
