Gen Korean BBQ House

Love this place. Food is good. Peaceful atmosphere. Price is a little high but you're paying for premium food not fast food.

Our teenagers enjoyed the proteins at this restaurant at least 7 times during the last few years. They especially like the appetizers and the Hawaiian Steak.

The service here is different from time to time. Sometimes, they were pretty good. Sometimes, it took a long time to get something on the table. We just went with the flow and excepted the fact that sometimes they are too busy.

We have also tried the Gen in Cerritos once. The service there was way better, but the appetizers were not that great. They also have no oyster mushroom. However, the seafood in Cerritos were better and fresher.

Food was delicious but we had to request another server because ours was MIA. From what I saw that is generally not the case. Great place to go with friends. We went for lunch on Sunday and the wait time was not too long. The Galbi is amazing.

I’m used to Japanese bbq so the difference in grill and options took a little getting used too. Our server KYLE B was a HUGE help! He made the whole ordeal fun and painless! Quality of everything was awesome and it all tasted amazing!
