It's a really cool store, But it's bit sad that they are busy. I would like to give this wonderful space 5 stars in the hope that it will do well. It would have been better if a more systematic system and good, quick service had been implemented from the beginning. I like the small burgers and waffle fries here.
I got the Clyde’s original chicken sandwich with potato salad. The “hot as cluck” spice level isn’t overly spicy and would suggest if you like spicy chicken. The bun was a tad bit dry, maybe it was just a day too old. The potato salad was delicious and was the perfect side to go with hot chicken. They have a full open air bar as well as an upstairs patio. I saw that they also have a happy hour as well.
UPDATE (8/23):
Clyde's has improved their quality of food and service. The buns tasted great, and they weren't dry. The staff is still very friendly, and they greet you with "Welcome to Clyde's!" as you enter. I enjoy the store's upbeat and modern vibe, while keeping the music volume low. Also, the service was quicker. Keep it up, Clyde's. I'm still waiting on the halal chicken, though!

Original review:
This store just opened in Yorba Linda. I love hot chicken, and I’ve tried places like Dave’s and Bred’s Hot Chicken. I went to the grand opening on August 3rd, and the restaurant itself was beautiful, in terms of architectural design. The staff had high energy, and were very excited to serve the first customers, which I loved. However, the quality of food needs improvement. Many hot chicken places serve halal chicken, and unfortunately Clyde’s doesn’t. Besides this, the brioche buns tasted kind of dry - like biscuits. Their waffle fries were good, however. Overall, this place has a lot of potential to become a popular spot in Yorba Linda.
The service, amazing, and everyone is so friendly! Brand new spot in Yorba Linda with a whole new concept, fast food + full service + full bar + fine dining (coming soon I’m told). Drinks are amazing, ambiance is casual cool, and the food is crazy good. They just launched an exclusive bar menu and it all sounds fantastic. My husband and I are super excited to have something like this just down the street. Can’t wait to try the rooftop! Brettley, Ari, and Alida are fabulous at the bar. Worth the stop in for sure… and they have a drive thru for quick dinner nights.
