“Very nice little spot here in the The Pantry! I think they are affiliated with Sapphire - the popular larger restaurant next door. But this spot has its own charm, and is open early! The staff is kind and friendly. Proactive and quick! The food is pretty tasty; but a bit small in terms of the portion for the price. But enjoyable! The coffee was middle tier. The avocado toast was very tasty, but a bit small. Lovely outdoor patio overlooking pch and glimpse of the ocean. Very nice! Dog and kid friendly! Tons of options inside. Wines, pastries, prepacked, fresh to order, etc.”

“This place is great stay but the golf rates are little crazy. The rates have increased for the second time in this past year alone. It use to be 45 for a weekday then it was to 50. Yesterday the rates were increased to 55 for a weekday and it went to 65 for a weekend and that’s all day rate no twilight. It was great spot for 45 being a 9 but now easily I would play a larger course less!!! Sorry but this gem is now gone!!!”

“This beautiful pop-up offers a modern take on some Indian classics. Table favorites included the Corn and Cardomom Bisque, the Masala Paneer en Croute, and the Cardamom Cheesecake. I appreciated the concept of the Spiced Burrata, but found the cheese to be overpowered by the other strong flavors on the plate. Nice drinks, as well. “The Hive is a great neighborhood sports bar with lots of TVs and lots of seating. Their beer menu is pretty good and all of the food items that we have tried have been very tasty. It is a lot better that the Slater's 50/50 that used to be in this spot. The reason for 4 stars is because I think there is room for improvement. The food is a little pricey for the quantity, and let me just say that our household completely understands the cost of running a business in CA and the impact of inflation but we have noticed that sometimes the toppings are sparse and some of the price points are a little too high IMHO. The high top barstools are not super comfortable and if you're seated under a vent it can be a very chilly dinner. The atmosphere is fine but feels like the decor was rushed for their grand opening and the owner decided it was good enough. The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5... NO BEER MENU at the table. Every time we have been here the staff is friendly and prompt to get us seated and take our drink order, but they never have a beer list for us to look at. So we have to listen to the server to list off a bunch of beers (sometimes you can't hear or catch the name) and it always feels like we are put on the spot to make a decision. For a sports bar with a large bar area, there should be a beer menu, just saying.”

“Newer southern Italian trattoria in Aliso Viejo town center. Delightfully decorated and clean dining room and patio. Personable and attentive service. We ordered brocolli rabe orecchiette, braised artichoke hearts and salad for a late afternoon lunch. Delicious dishes with fresh ingredients. Artichoke hearts unfortunately had a few bits too fibrous to chew. Overall, we were happy and will return to try more dishes! Update (Meal #2): OMG! 4 stars to 5 STARS! For our second meal here, we had delicious salads plus spectacular main courses of Lasagna and also Spaghetti Pomodoro. Distinct sauces for each dish. Flavors of homemade pasta superb. Spaghett was cooked al dente to perfection. Lasagna had 7 perfect thin layers hugging the two sauces. Hats off to the chef!”

“I've been going to this place since I moved to Irvine in 2021 and it was a simple sandwich shop run by two wonderful older Korean ladies. Delicious food and it made you happy just to see them. When it sold a couple months back I was sad but am happy to say this place is alive and thriving still!!! A very kind man named Mark took it over and has put a breakfast twist to the original concept which is really great. He puts the same care into making excellent quality and delicious food and is just as kind and service minded. Try the breakfast burrito, it is delicious!”

“We (5) had on 23rd February went to this restaurant to eat South Indian Food. We ordered Idli, Dosa, Masala Dosa, Sambar and tea. It was really great and tasty food. The food reminded us of India. The tea was excellent. Nice guys working there. If we ever get a chance we would love to go back. I highly recommend it.”

We ended up staying a lot longer than expected because the vibe and staff were incredible! The food was very good! Our beertender Gavin was outstanding! He knew the selections of beers and made excellent recommendations! The vibe was our style. Not too loud! They had the games on as well! The beer was exceptional- we tried a variety of different styles from IPAs to an epic Blueberry Almond BBA Stout! They do flights as well for those wondering! “Lobster was really good, bread was grilled/ toasted to perfection. We ordered one Connecticut style, which is warm and it was served with melted butter. We also had the clam chowder, it was really good, I mean who could skip that pairing? Blue Cheese coleslaw, it was different, but really good- IF you are a bleu cheese fan, 4 of us were, and we had to order another one! Not big enough for larger parties (5) hence the name shack. We had to sit outside, it was a little cold. We all love lobster rolls and this was a great find, to my surprise it only had 8 reviews, so I thought I’d add one, because every shack deserves some love.”

“Last weekend, I went grocery shopping at Zion Market, and saw that Two Dak Two Dak had opened at the Food Court. Since it was my first time trying it, I tried basic Fried Chicken. I guess the raw chicken was marinated properly so the chicken didn't have any bad smell. When I evaluate chicken, the most important things I consider are the crispy texture of fried chicken skin and the juicy meat inside. The chicken sold at Two Dak Two Dak meth both conditions. I was so satisfied with two dak two dak's fried chicken. I'll definitely come back to try seasoned chicken and green onion chicken soon. Highly recommended!!”
