River Ranch Lodge & Restaurant

Well I was visiting Tahoe, I spotted this place from the road. They've got a patio that sits right by the river. We grabbed an umbrella to shade us from the sun and had a nice light little lunch. Service was great The food was good, but the view is spectacular! If you're going to Tahoe, put this on your list of to-dos.

Great view, on the river. Has inside or outside seating. Good food, reasonable prices and friendly staff

Went here tonight for dinner. All I can say is this was just about the most incredible dinner I have had in tahoe. What a wonderful way to spend the evening. While prices denote special occasion for me, if I had the means I would be here once a week. So worth a visit. I am blown away. We tried short ribs, elk, and halibut. Wow wow wow.

The room was small but perfect and clean. I had beautiful views of the Truckee River from my balcony. Excellent food and staff. The bartender was what I call a real bartender. I bartend myself so I can say that. He was not bothered by my asking to make something different that required looking for some ingredients. I can't wait to stay here again.

If you are looking for local ski lodge this place is the best!!! Has the best food for if you got snowed in. Real satisfying meat options.. their elk, lamb, and steak are divine! If you've had a hard, long day on the mountain this is where to go. Also everyone that works there is the best!
