El Agave Taqueria

For now I am just giving it 4 stars because from what I understand they have just got new management.

Their street tacos were excellent!

I look forward to eating there more.

It's called a taqueria, but it's really a restaurant where you wait to be seated for table service. But the service was so slow - except for the delivery of some average chips and salsa, that after being passed by many times by the waitress who would not even make eye contact, I got up and left. I'm guessing the food would have tasted good.

I lived in Auburn for multiple years and went back to El Agave time and time again. Always delicious, nice staff. I always get the vegetarian burrito bowl and it’s fantastic. I highly recommend it.

The food at this establishment is very good. Probably some of the best tasting chorizo I've had. They are not cheap and the feasible lunch special they had is now much more expensive. I would have given 5 stars but the increased prices really put a damper on my review. Overall though, the food and service is very good.
