Mezcalito Oaxacan Cuisine

It's a new Mexican restaurant in Rocklin and we were impressed with the delicious food. Not like the regular Mex we are accustom to. We definitely will go again, the food was different and so good. It's nothing ritzy but the food was great. It's going to be a hit and they were busy. We left impressed and happy.

Very good! I visited with my friend's family who go there often (they are locals). They highly recommended it, and I understand why.

The prices were quite reasonable.
The portion sizes were good.
The Oaxacan cuisine was spot on.

Fresh, healthy, quality, gourmet mexican food. Gotta love it! I've had burritos here and nachos. Both awesome. The fish tacos my friend had looked amazing as well.

Don't let the tchotchke decor fool you. This place is truly a diamond in the rough. The gourmet flare to traditional Mexican recipes makes this place stand out starkly against the competition. The building is fairly small but has seating outdoors in their enclosed patio. I've never had to make a reservation, but I predict this to change once the local foodies discover it.

Don't be fooled by location you have to look for it or you'll miss it. Good food, nice staff. Poorly lit parking lot.
