So. What to say. The greeter was personal and fun. Sat us down then Irena (I think) came and talked to us about the meal and was so different from any other waitress. It was more a conversation than an order. Once placed, she left us to enjoy the amazing meal. I had the meatloaf, mashies, broccoli, and cornbread and biscuit. She had suggested the pomegranate tea, which I've never had before. I was a little apprehensive but gave it a try and it was absolutely delicious. She did pay attention to us by making eye contact several times but not interfering, which is another unusual thing. When we were all done, she came and quickly took care of the leftovers and the check and was again very cordial. Went to check out and the cashier was equally fun and interactive. I am very glad that we have a Cracker Barrel in the Sacramento area. I give them a multiple thumbs up.
What a fun place. Like walking into an 1880's country store and restaurant. The staff was very friendly. The food is delicious, and just the right portion size. The service is quick. Everything here is just right. The gift shop is well stocked with lots of interesting goods. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!
Staff was cheerful and very pleasant. Food was overall properly prepared if perhaps a bit slow, was busier than usual though I suspect. Mocha I had was nothing interesting, Lemonade boys had was fresh and best item. My pot roast was tender and gravy good. Wife's meatloaf was fine, but nothing to get excited about. Cooked Brocolli was fresh, but no flavor. This was overall the impression we had, fine meal, but nothing we couldn't wait to get back for or we couldn't make at home as well or better.
Got sat down in 30-35 minutes. Our waiter was quick to take our order. Got our food in 15 minutes. The food was fantastic. We were checked up on multiple times which was nice. The only reason parking is limited is because of the construction that’s happening. I have no complaints. Most of you on here are just babies.
This was the first time in a Cracker Barrel Restaurant. Hubby and I took our moms for dinner on a Friday, going early, trying to avoid the huge crowd. It was still packed, but we were seated almost immediately. Three of us ordered chicken which was excellent, as well as the sides we all ordered. Hubby ordered catfish which was great also. Service was amazing considering every seat taken. I asked for a beverage when our food was served, and our waitress was back in less than a minute with it. Very impressed with the food and the service. This will definitely be a go to place for a comfort meal! The gift shop is amazing, going to go back when it's a little less crowded to really check it out. Only complaint is the parking lot. Not sure why they have so many designated slots for van pool when so many stores have to share the lot. Hopefully that will change.
