Starbucks

So, this has become my favorite Starbucks. That is hard to say because there are like 758 within 5 minutes of my house (slight exaggeration). There are Starbucks nearby that have great service with super friendly people. They even remember my name! (This happens to me at more than one Starbucks... Yes I have a problem) And Starbucks is very good at having consistent quality, so the food and coffee is always great. But, this Starbucks is unique because it is quiet! The acoustic ceiling tiles and raised wooden floor dampen the noise. Most Starbucks echo and it is often hard to have a conversation. But this one is quiet. Maybe I'm old now, but quiet is nice.

While Starbucks is not the best coffee around, it is always consistently good. This is relatively a new location and is comfortable place to relax and have your coffee. Outdoor seating with umbrellas is nice when the weather permits. Service is very good even if the coffee isn't the very best. I do enjoy their teas though.

Came in to grab coffee before getting on the road. The counter service was so bad we got back in our car, got in drive thru, ordered, and pulled out before the people in front of us inside got their order.
I tried to use the restroom to wash my hands before I ate the food I was about to order. One bathroom was occupied, which is understandable.
The second bathroom very obviously had not been checked in quite a while. There were towels and trash on the floor and human waste all over the toilet and still in it.

Needless to say, we got our drive thru and stopped somewhere else to wash our hands.

I used the drive-thru the first time, but in my truck had to back up a couple of times to make the curve for ordering. I've been going inside to order since then. It is so nice to be greeted personally by all the barristers inside. Now I just learned that the drive thru will be modified to allow larger vehicles to be able to access the outside ordering without having to back up to make the curve. Was told it would take three days - no drive thru service during that time but inside service will still be available. I'll still place my orders inside though.
