Mimi's Café

I've not been to a Mimi's for several years & this was the best lunch I have had for at least that long! The waiter, Travis, was great helpful & knowledgeable & suggested something for my order of French onion soup & turkey salad sandwich when he let me know the sandwich used to be on dark raisin bread & that they still had the bread so that is what I ordered! Delicious!!! And best of all I was able to order a loaf of this bread to take home!!! Can't wait to make sandwiches and then Travis said he will get some for cinnamon toast which then led me to think of French toast ???? thank you Travis!!! It was a great lunch, I will return!!!!

We were just in for mother's day and it was understandably packed. We waited over an hour for a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 kids. We ordered as soon as we got to the table but we were never brought bread or anything to calm the hungry children, even though all the table around us had baskets of bread. Then we didn't have any silverware and our server just plopped a bunch of forks and butter knives in front of us, and one fabric napkin... for 8 people. So we shared the napkin... no, they brought us paper napkins, on mother's day....I mean, I get that it was mother's day and very busy, but they should have been prepared for this. It is the same every year. All the tables were jammed close together making it hard to move and get anywhere, very claustrophobic. Overall disappointed, but the food was good.

So we went here for my grandmother's birthday and mothers day. We had a major issue with them refusing to give us the room that we had made a reservation for. However, they were quick to fix this particular issue when we brought it up.

My eggs benedict was amazing, even if the sauce was starting to clot. They also make an amazing smoked salmon.

It's a great restaurant with variety of choices. I've had several items from their menu and never disappointed. Their service can be a little slow hut they're very busy. If you're in a hurry don't go there, but if you have time take it and relax and you will have a good day.

The food here was fantastic. I came here for breakfast and was not disappointed. The muffins are out of this world, they are served warm with butter on the side. The pancakes we're fluffy and had a good flavor, the sausage was juicy and flavorful. Overall this is a phenomenal place for breakfast.
