Prayers have been answered! Quality made from scratch ramen in Placer! No more driving to Sacramento EVERY time you want good ramen. The Tori Miso was absolutely to die for, trust me, you don't need to have tonkotsu to enjoy ramen and this Tori Miso proves it. The chashu is out of this world tasty, such a strong flavor and melts in your mouth. Perfectly poached and marinated egg with a jammy yolk that can only be reached if you truly know your stuff. Thank you Fukumi!!! You are heaven sent!

Fantastic Ramen in suburbia! Hooray! I hail from Seattle and was spoiled by great Asian food there. This is legit stuff. I had the Tantan Ramen and had good spice and very rich broth. Noodles were perfect and chewy. Not a pork belly guy so may ask for a different meat next time but it was still very flavorful.

I crave ramen, and I rarely find a place as good as Ramen Tatsunoya in Pasadena. Today, I found a worthy competitor. Births that take 72 hours to prepare, noodles with perfect texture. Tender chashu. Oh yeah, you definitely want extra chashu.
We had the Tantan and the Kara-miso, and simply because my wife and I both like spicy, we liked the Kara-miso better, but they were both delicious.
They service was great and the staff definitely cares about their craft.

Walking in the restaurant is spacious, feel comfortable and clean, good decorations. Ramen and chasiu rice (pork over rice) taste excellent, the broth is the best including Sacramento area!! Service is great and they have bowls and utensils for kids. Foods came out in ten to fifteen minutes even on busy Saturday lunch hours. Service is little slow, maybe they just opened for a week. Seem like the owner is from Japan ????????
