The Bidwell House

We really enjoyed staying at the Bidwell House. We only stayed one night, and certainly would stay there again. It was less than an hour from Lassen National Park. The check in was smooth and welcoming. We were given good advice on where to eat locally. Wine was available in the evening at a reasonable price, and we enjoyed the amenities of the room. Breakfast was fantastic---the hostess prepared frittatas, and an attentive server took great care of us. It was a wonderful stay.

What a great place. The staff are fantastic and the free breakfast was great. Will definitely be back.

The Inn Keepers, Eva and Filip, are the hardest working folks I have ever met. I had the privilege of getting married at the Bidwell House in June, 2021, and the weekend was nothing short of perfect. Great people, great food, and great service.

Meadow View room September 26, 27, 2014. The room was clean and comfortable. We did not use the TV so I cannot comment on how well it functioned. The bed was very comfortable. The Double Jacuzzi tub was a wonderful treat for my wife. I highly recommend this facility. I cannot begin to say enough positive things about the staff. They were very helpful and polite throughout the entire weekend. The daily breakfast was surprisingly good; great flavors and very fresh. The entire facility and grounds were well kept yet rustic and charming. In this case, rustic and charming are not euphemisms for old and run down :)
