I've never had a self service hotel/motel before but it was interesting. I'd say the room was pleasantly done and was better then I expected. The bed isn't my bed so it isn't comfortable at all but I also forgot to bring my own pillow and I would have slept better. Don't worry about choosing this place based on the looks of the outside. The inside is way better looking.

Carol assisted me and helped me get a room. She was so sweet and helpful. The rooms exceeded my expectations, clean updated and allowed pets for a deposit fee. The AC came in clutch! Definitely recommend. We had the cowboy room.

Honestly an amazing hidden gem. Was looking for a nice place to stay before heading up to Lassen, and came across this place. Very unique concept, each room is based off of a certain theme, Western, Winter themed, etc. We booked the Winter Wonderland and it was absolutely beautiful. I would extremely recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet and beautiful room!

The room is very clean, very well decorated and had and I noticed someone poured the heart and soul in some recent renovations. We actually stayed in room 2 for example the tile was pretty darn good.
At first quite honestly pulling in my wife and I thought “oh my did we make a mistake” but the rooms are very nice. The brewery was not open yet but that looks pretty promising . Definitely will come back next time coming to the area.

We were traveling from Mount Shasta to Lake Tahoe and were told of Lassen National Park for great hiking and beautiful views. We had difficulty locating a hotel close by to the park, and when we googled the area we found this wonderful hidden gem! This place was beautifully renovated a short time ago-and our room was extremely comfortable, with a huge television a very comfortable bed very hot shower and very clean. The staff here helped us when we had some difficulty utilizing the lock system. The owner is highly responsive and the price is right. If you need a place to stay, this will be wonderful and not a far drive to Lassen. Just an FYI, it functions like an Airbnb without a front desk. You will be given a code for access to your room on the day of check in. There are wonderful restaurants close by. Check out Cravings for breakfast and lunch and Highlands Ranch for a spectacular delicious dinner!!
