Rico's Mexican Food

Sometimes really good, sometimes so-so. Staff always pleasant but check your order if taking out. Prices should be a bit lower , but on par with the area overall

Cute little place with good food, good prices, and good service.

Didn't give us any salsa or guac. that we ordered thinking we would get some chips like usual and she even asked us what size salsa and guac? Then when we called they didn't seem to care. Food was bland, just ok, cilantro heavy "super burrito" and it is much smaller than it use to be. Had better, more flavorful Mex. food in the past there, but Portola's food scene leaves much to be desired and Rico's has unfortunately fallen into that category.

Always eat here best place in town! Staff is so friendly and service is pretty fast

They have expanded since the last time I went in, there is now much more seating to be able to have a sit-down meal which I appreciated. Food was really good and filling. It was busy, but with more seats now, it wasn't so busy that we felt rushed to give our seat up to other people. It was nice being able to go there for dinner with a friend and sit and talk for a while.
