Capizzi's Cheesecakes Pizza...and then some

I stumbled upon Capizzi's while selling tickets for Palm Springs Power a couple years ago. They weren't quiet open yet but I was welcomed in and offered shelter from the heat and some water. Louie told me his story and talked about his plans for the shop and how much finally opening up his own place meant to him. I have to admit, that before meeting him, I never liked cheesecake. It just wasn't for me. Then he offered me a slice of his traditional cheesecake. I accepted because I didn't want to be rude and just wow. Every feeling I previously had about cheesecake was out the window. It was creamy and the crust was just amazing. He offered a couple other flavors and I devoured every little bit of it. It's probably good that I don't live closer or I'd be there at least once a week. Thank you for sharing your amazing story with me, Louie, and thank you for making me a cheesecake person.

If you love cheesecake, you must visit. Simply the best cheesecakes. So many great flavors. The owner is super friendly. Wish we had a place like this in LA!

I tasted the pizza at the "Roost" opening and never knew of Capizzi's and it is one of the best pizza's i have had in the desert. The thin crust was perfectly cooked, the sausage was so flavorful and the veggies were fresh and crisp. Overall, I can't wait to go back!!

Small store located by corner next to Edible Arrangements. Owners are super friendly, takes the time to get to know you and give taste samples. Incredibly delicious cheesecakes! Really convenient that there are bite-sized options to try all the flavors to bring to parties/occasions. Favorites so far are the original and amaretto. Will be back for more cheesecakes and to try the Chicago style pizzas!
