Sammy's Place

Fun, yummy, a delightful evening. Delighted our taste buds. Attentive and answered all our questions. Calamari was great. Salad was delightful and the sandabs are delish! Oh so yummmmm.

It is my first time at Sammy's Place and I truly enjoyed my dining experience last night. I had the Linguini Alfredo with Fresh Chicken and the Vanilla Gelato with chocolate syrup. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. I'll surely be back again with friends!

This place has really dialed it in. In the beginning the portions we so big that when I got my food I almost lost my appetite because I knew it would not all be eaten. Last night I had house salad. Greens were fresh and the dressing! I wanted to lick the bowl. The marsala chicken was perfect. Nicely balanced flavors and fresh mushrooms. Just enough of mashed potatoes and a veggie saute that complemented the entire dish. Yum! Service was spot on. The entire restaurant was lively and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I recommend this place highly. Be sure you call in advance for reservations. It's a smaller more intimate restaurant that is very popular in Cathedral City. Go say hi to Sammy and Chief Scott!! Cozy Corner, Neighborhood Bar. Small but delicious menu. Dinner seating for about 24? I noticed many tables were reserved and happy customers who we're obviously return customers were so delighted to be seated. I was very impressed when I visited for the first time.

This is a nice little Italian place with good food and service. We were introduced to it by our neighbors and would recommend it for a night out with another couple. The pasta and red sauce were both excellent as was the veal parmigiana.
