Gen Korean BBQ

Korean BBQ and the atmosphere at this spot is very good. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. Prices were fair for the quality of the food. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I loved.

Hectic when busy but very tasty. We had to wait an hr to get seated but then food is good. Having to cook your own meat is indicative of this style of BBQ so keep that in mind when going.

It's a really fun place to hang out with friends and it's mostly food service that you have control over, which is a good thing. Costumer service could've been better though; Obtaining some of the food you ordered can take very long, some just completely forgotten, and there wasn't even that many other parties either. Although it was a fun time with friends ether way.

Never disappointed when I come to GEN! Obed is an exceptional server who needs to be recognized for his awesome guest service! He is so attentive and gives great guest service. Made my family and I feel like we were cared for and our experience mattered. It's rare to find servers like that, let alone get lucky to have them as your server. Love how I can always expect great service.
