Yaad and Abroad restaurant

I finally got to dine at the new Jamaican restaurant, Yaad and Abroad. It was a beautiful Saturday night and I had a chance to meet the wonderful couple who are in charge. What a down to earth couple they are. Service was excellent, food was just like how I like it and the atmosphere, with the nice reggae music was Irie.I highly recommend this spot to anyone who wants to enjoy some authentic island cuisine.I definitely will be returning with more friends .

My wife and I went to Jamaica for our honeymoon and ever since have searched for something to fill our craving for the delicious food we had there. We found a few places that were ok, but this place here is it! This is what we have been searching for all these years, real authentic Jamaica food. We started off with a beef patty, which was really good. It was hot, crispy, and delicious. I orders the jerk chicken and my wife got Tam-O'niel's traffic combo. In the Tam-O'niel's traffic combo the jerk chicken wings were so good, but the jerk pork was amazing. I have to get that next time. I'm not a big fish person, but the fish was good. The jerk chicken I got brought back memories, it was just like the jerk I had in Jamaica and so good. The chicken fell right off the bone and was cooked perfectly. The thing that sets apart jerk for me is the seasoning. Most places just don't taste the same as I remember, but here it was spot on. Such delicious flavor with a little kick to it. You can get extra sauce if you like it extra spicy. This is without a doubt the real deal and I'll absolutely be coming back. It's like having a little piece of Jamaica right here in our neighborhood.

Best Jamaican spot in the I.E! Had the jerk chicken pasta! Perfect blend of spices and great customer service! Will definitely be back and bringing friends!
