The Hot Dog Shoppe

This place has been a staple in the community. They keep all the same favorite recipes. We grew up on their food. Hotdogs and chili are the best. You always have to finish with one of their chocolate malts. And probably one of the last few places that still serve cherry pop. It’s a great place to visit if your in town.

I just happened to see this place while I was driving by, so I stopped in to try it. The place has a lot of different kinds of dogs, but you can still get a traditional one if you want. I had a regular 1/4 pound chili cheese dog and the corporal. So good, but filing. I barely even touched my fries. I got a free tester of the Texas Mac and cheese and it was great....almost a meal in itself. They also have burgers and sandwiches. They have 4-5 spout draft well. The interior has tables, four bar spots and also has a high table looking out. The place was a bit warm when I was in there but that could be because it was almost 100 degrees out.

First time coming here and had a GREAT experience. The staff was super friendly and accommodating while we tried to figure out what we wanted, and when we got the food it was fresh, delicious, and tender. We ordered the Everything is Awesome dog and the All American Burger. You havent lived until you've had a melted cheese shell on your dog. The burger was the most tender burger we've ever had, and the tots? Crispy and amazing. The beers are on tap and they even have cider. I highly recommend coming here.

I discovered this place by accident. I went to doghaus but didn't feel like waiting in a line, in corona. Some people know what I mean. Anyways found this spot. Customer service is Excellent. Food is pretty good. Still haven't gotten the menu you down so I just pretty much ask the lady what she recommends. Except that onetime I went to the function the night before. Then it was hangover burger and whatever else. Everything is pretty good.

I've been several times and haven't tried the same thing twice due to all the options.

Quick service, easy going atmosphere.

The owner is really chill guy who you can tell has a ton of pride, and it shows.

You might like everything, but you'll definitely like something. I almost always take out of towners here for lunch, just because it's so unique.
