Deli Delicious

I go whenever I travel to Bakersfield and now your in my neck of the city. What a surprise to have an actual great deli that not only offers great sandwiches but service to boot!
You cannot go wrong with anything here. I am a big fan of the Turkey and avocado with sprouts here, on Dutch crunch of coarse. Pair it with fries and your good.
Had a customer that just lost her husband and she is a senior that doesn't drive a lot. So I got a gift card so she can enjoy this place on me. You guy's are a blessing in this area. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to offering great food and service.

I love this place but I think things could be a little better.
Been here 3 times and each time I’ve had mistakes on my orders. 1 time I ordered 2 sandwiches (1 medium and 1 small) and they flipped them. So the small one was made as the medium etc.
I also have a problem with the way the menu and pricing is. The classic turkey comes with Swiss cheese and if you ask to swap it with provolone they key in no Swiss and then add provolone but then it charges you $.70 for the different cheese. Almost every other ship I’ve been to will just swap the cheeses. The other problem is if you order the Turkey & Bacon it’s not listed on the register so they make it a classic turkey and add bacon so it adds $.75. I complained to the cashier but she was confused and I said the price is different than what’s listed on the overhead menu. Anyways it’s petty but should be more streamlined.
Dutch crunch bread is excellent. The fries are good also. If they can just fix some of the issues with the register and matching the prices then it would be a much more pleasant experience.

People are very nice. The sandwiches are delicious for sure (a bit pricey though). The fries are yummy! The tomato soup is also yummy but tortilla soup is watery and hardly any chicken or veggies. However, they have been open for over a month now and their scanner to get rewards still is not available. They have a big sign on the door saying earn rewards but yet they keep saying it’s not working. I will update to more stars when they get the scanner working.

The food here is wonderful. I have ordered a couple of different sandwiches and they have both been great. The meat is quality not processed deli meat. The cheese is cut thick enough so it can be tasted. The bread was soft and fresh and tasty. Everything was fresh. The sandwiches are not cheap but you get what you pay for. Thoroughly enjoyable. They have a very workable app for mobile orders and they offer curbside service as well.
