    Great course. Great views. A lot of homes on the perimeter on most holes.

    A little out of the way but worth every minute it take to get there. the course was in great shape a perfect spring day not to hot.

    A wonderful day and experience! Considering the recent heat, the course was in good condition! The greens were undulating and big, but rolled true and rewarded good shots. Some Fairways were browner than others, but nothing too debilitating. I love the course layout as every hole is its own experience without another fairway or group in sight! There are some stunning views of the Temescal Valley and some wonderful majestic driving holes! Lots of elevation changes make this a challenging, but beautiful course!

    Pros:

    * Great value
    * beautiful views
    * quality greens
    * Best hot dogs anywhere!
    * awesome layout through the canyons
    * cool elevated tee boxes make for fun drives!

    Cons:

    * pace of play was slow (5 hr round)
    * had to request ice chest be filled
    * had to request water and was only given one bottle even tho it was 95 out!
    * GPS boundaries on the carts are a bit aggressive. They cut out like 15 yards a behind the 'cart' sign.

    I will definitely be back to play here again! Can't wait!

    I thought this was a great value for $50. Here are my thoughts on each aspect of our visit.

    Initial impression: Very nice looking, clean grounds. The cart attendant was quick to our car, and personable. It was easy to check-in, the pro shop was clean, and had lots of gear to purchase.

    Breakfast: The restaurant was nice, and clearly newer. The person working there was nice, but it took close to 25 minutes for 2 omelets. The food was decent, nothing to recommend; similar to Denny's.

    Carts: The carts were comfortable, had GPS and an ice-chest. The cart attendants filled the chest with ice and a water for each of us. Sometimes it felt like the carts lacked a little guts, and they would also tell us we were inside the restricted area, when our cart was not with 5 feet of the signs directing us back to the path.

    Driving Range: It seemed like it was newly renovated and had lights for night practice. There were mats and grass, we had to hit from the mats. The balls were pretty beat up, but the range did its job and allowed us to get loose.

    Tees: We played from the blues, and always found a nice, level spot to hit from. The boxes were mowed nicely, and grass-filled.

    Fairways: They were bermuda, which took getting used to, but were green and well maintained. The fairways were wide enough to allow ample landing room without having to be perfect off the tee.

    Rough: The rough was thick, but allowed you to play from it without killing yourself.

    Traps: The traps were decent, and you could tell they had been raked that morning. The traps were playable, and rewarded you for hitting a decent shot from them.

    Greens: The greens were medium-sized, with lots of places for different pins to go. I thought they were mid-speed, and were receptive of shots into them. I did feel like they were bumpy, but I didn't see what was causing it.

    Overall impression: I enjoyed playing here. There was a large variety of holes and the layout made it never seem busy. I thought reading the greens was the most challenging part of the course, and the par 3's were relatively longer. 14 and 18 were my favorite holes. If I were ever near there again, I would play there a second time.

    Very few 5 starts golf courses I’ve ever rated in the world. Green free is very affordable, well designed, maintained and served while is challenging. Strongly recommended!
