Amelia’s Donuts Bakery Cafe

We had freshly made donuts that exceed any other donuts. And their hospitality was beautiful and real.

We made a special trip up the hill into Idylwild just to visit Amelia's. We had seen a post on Facebook displaying sticky buns and a breakfast burrito that just looked incredible. As well as some maple bacon donuts that looked absolutely delectable. Needless to say by the 5-star rating, we were not disappointed. This quaint little hole-in-the-wall spot felt like home. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was comfortable and clean. But most importantly, the food did not disappoint. My burrito was amazing, the sticky buns alone were worth the trip, and everything we had was worth the 5-star rating. If you find yourself in town, this is a great place to stop for a quick snack, a delicious breakfast, and they even do lunch. Check them out.

Great soups and donuts made fresh daily. Owners are friendly and caring. The restaurant has been upgraded to one of the neatest in the town .

Amelia's family owned and operated business is awesome. Amelia and her family are so friendly and welcoming. Her donuts are the best that I have ever eaten. I especially like the apple fritter and the sticky bun. My wife loves the old fashioned glazed donuts. Amelia also offers the yummiest pies each week. We are a pie of the week family now.

Walked all around town on a Friday with my husband and dogs. The shop owner was sweet and patient. I got a gluten-free chocolate donut with no frosting and a cup of iced coffee. Both were excellent. The gf donut was cakey and delicious. I could have eaten two. The coffee was slightly sweet, made because of the oat milk, but we drank it fast and continued on. As a gluten sensitive person, it’s always a treat to join my husband in a sweet snack. I’ll be returning in future trips to Idyllwild.
