Manzanita Cantina and Grill

Need more wait staff and a bus person for tables. Seated. Wait staff did not approach for awhile. At that time there were minimal customers in restaurant.Given chips with HOT sauce and NO OFFER of drinks, no water either. One wait person was working bar and tables. That is unfair not only to the customers at bar and at tables but wait person. It sets the wait person up for failure and the customer up to be dissatisfied. Finally, the drink order was taken. When the drinks came, they were incorrect. A person at the bar who appeared to be a customer got up and went behind bar and started making drinks. Our drinks finally were corrected. No one was abusing empty dirty tables. When our food came out, so did our appetizer. Due to this we could not eat our whole meal. Ended up taking most of it home. Food was good. Prices reasonable. Nice atmosphere. Not overly friendly due to limited staff and rushed interaction. We are new to area, a little friendly interaction could go a long way.

I certainly enjoy their food and service, great area next to where I live. The employees are always very friendly. Will come back again.

Used to be Los gorditos. Same owner new name and new menu. It's the New late night local hangout. Has a full bar, ??? jukebox, and a pool table that makes this place standout. Only place in idyllwild tht stays open late. Great service , amazing authentic mexican food with reasonable prices... you cant go wrong. ??? TACO TUESDAY??? DONT WANT TO MISS IT.

Cozy little restaurant....WITH A POOL TABLE!!!!! So excited because the Legion has the only other pool table in Idyllwild!!! Friendly girl who waited on me, delicious food (I recommend the surf n turf burrito) and full bar!! Also, open 6 days a week until midnight...perfect for this town that shuts down too early sometimes. Definitely 5 brilliant stars!!

Came her for dinner wasn't to busy. Waitress was great and helpful. Asked her for recommendations since it was our first time. She recommended the tacos. My wife got tacos and I got the carnitas plate. We shared our food and everything was great. Everything came out hot and fresh. Recommend coming in if your in the area
