Don Diego's of Indian Wells

Very good Mexican cuisine, however it is a bit pricey (not any more so than some of it's competitors in the area). Service is always attentive and bar has good drinks. Since the ownership changes several years ago, the margaritas are not as good as they once were. Food quality is still very good. The place is really starting to look run down, it needs freshening. Paint, new table cloths, curtains between the booths-- just an overall face lift. Food+service is the only reason it continues to rate this high.

The food was really good. Service could've been better. Had to wait a while for refills which isn't the best when you're eating somewhat spicy food.

Great location, lobster enchiladas tasted out of can. Not impressed... chips salsa good. Over priced Mexican food ...paying for ambiance and high rent.

This is the second time we have been to Don Diego and both times we have been impressed. The quality and presentation was terrific and the taste was excellent.
I was happy to see that the restaurant was thriving as the folks are friendly and earnest in their wish for your enjoyment of the food they serve.
