Lantana Restaurant

Breakfast was reasonable and delicious.

As with many restaurants attached to hotels, there is nothing unique about the main dishes. They serve some of the common meals you will find in any expensive restaurant attached to a hotel. They did do an excellent job of preparing my seared scallops.
The dessert was a bit unique. I ordered the date and ginger cake, which was fantastic. It really made the meal special.
Service was outstanding, however with three tables with people, and three servers, that seemed inevitable.

We ate here as guests of the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells. The restaurant had great service and a nice outdoor patio. The food was mediocre. Not the level you'd expect for the price or the look. Our starter pizza looked so unappealing I should have sent it back, but I was so hungry I ate around the edges. When you picked up a slice, all the cheese ran off. My husband said it looked like a tortilla you'd microwave at home with cheddar cheese. And that's what it tasted like. My husband got flank steak, which he said tasted okay but it wasn't cooked medium rare as he'd requested..grey coloring throughout. I had the scallops, and they were good. Big and cooked nicely. The ricotta underneath was too cheesy for me, but I bet many people would have loved it. Much better quality food elsewhere in palm springs.

Had the French Toast and Eggs Benedict for breakfast and was delicious ????

Fabulous food excellent for breakfast and dinner. Staff polite and attentive as expected. We had breakfast a few times during our stay and enjoyed first class service the evening of our anniversary. Will be back to enjoy again.
